Launched today: 'Inbetween Days' by Vikki Wakefield by Text Publishing

Today, Thursday 25 September 2016, Text Publishing has launched Inbetween Days by Vikki Wakefield into the UK market.

From the critically acclaimed, award-winning author of Friday Brown and All I Ever Wanted comes a moving, authentic and beautifully honest story of love, family and an abandoned drive-in.

At seventeen, Jack is all grown up. She’s living with her runaway sister, Trudy, and is in love with Luke, who doesn’t love her back. She’s stuck in Mobius – a dying town beside a macabre forest – working in the roadhouse.

Then a stranger sets up camp in the forest and Jeremiah, the boy next door, returns.
Sometimes she laughs about it but mostly Jack feels as if she is losing everything, including her mind. When love proves to be the biggest mystery of all, she learns just how many choices there are.

Inbetween Days is another breath-taking novel by Vikki Wakefield.

Praise for Vikki Wakefield:

“When I finish a Vikki Wakefield novel I get a tiny ache in my heart because I’m already missing her gutsy characters.”
— Melina Marchetta author of On The Jellicoe Road
“An utterly gripping read with authentic, complicated and relatable characters.”
— Age/Sydney Morning Herald, Best Children’s Books of 2015
“Vikki Wakefield...proves again that she’s the mistress of YA twisted relationships and disturbed characters, all memorable, all sketched with compassion, wit and insight, the adults as well as teens).”
— Ruth Starke, Australian Book Review, Books of the Year 2015
