Audible the world’s leading provider of spoken audio entertainment, has announced its support of London Book & Screen Week, the capital’s seven day city-wide celebration of books and the films, TV programmes and virtual worlds they inspire, taking place 11 – 17 April, 2016.

London Book & Screen Week is produced by, and coincides with, The London Book Fair (12-14 April), offering people all over London the chance to experience its vibrancy through discussions, debates, parties and special film showings.
Now in its second year, the festival merges a vibrant tent pole series of specially curated events, with an open sourced strand of activities that anyone can submit to. With publishing now worth an estimated £4.3bn to the UK economy, the festival draws the spotlight on the critical role books play in our creative industries and the breadth of inspiration they spark.

“We passionately believe in the power of a great story, told by a great voice. So we are thrilled to be supporting London, Book and Screen Week as it hosts some brilliant authors and filmmakers speaking about what inspires them at events across London.”
— Tracey Markham, Audible.co.uk
