Bestselling Author Jodi Ellen Malpas Signs Global Two-Book Deal

Orion Books UK and Forever, an imprint of Grand Central Publishing (GCP), a division of Hachette Book Group, have acquired the world English rights from Andrea Barzvi of Empire Literary for two new novels by Jodi Ellen Malpas, author of the New York Times bestselling THIS MAN and ONE NIGHT erotic romance trilogies. 

Laura Gerrard, Commissioning Editor at Orion, acquired the UK and Commonwealth rights.  At GCP, Beth de Guzman, VP, Digital and Paperback Publisher, acquired the North American rights. Hachette Audio will also publish both titles in audiobook format. 

All six of Malpas’ previously published novels have hit the New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller lists and her work is published in over 20 languages across the world.  A grass-roots phenomenon, the author took the online community by storm as the self-publishing sensation of 2013, selling 250,000 e-books of her passionately erotic trilogy, THIS MAN, before landing a major six-figure publishing deal. Her second trilogy ONE NIGHT was equally as successful.

THE PROTECTOR, scheduled for a September 2016 release in mass market paperback, ebook and audio, will be Malpas’ first standalone novel.
