The Writer’s Prize

Driven by a unique vision for what the prize could be, Fiona brought The Writers’ Prize (formerly Rathbones Folio Prize) together with Folio in 2014 and has been instrumental in raising the prize’s profile and influence ever since.

Taking up the PR helm under the directorship of Minna Fry, as Rathbones came onboard as sponsor, we have navigated various changes and challenges, including producing the first ever digital awards ceremony for a literary prize at the very start of the pandemic.

Over the years, our PR campaigns have continued to evolve with the prize. In 2023 we brought together a fresh aesthetic, an expanded media strategy, and a hugely impactful digital campaign. We built new partnerships, grew audiences and connected with new communities.

The prize is currently seeking new sponsorship to continue their mission to reward and shine a light on the very best writing that the global industry has to offer.
