Balham Literary Festival announces Summer Loving line-up for 2018

Balham Literary Festival returns this June with a dazzling line-up to celebrate summer in the  city. Under its theme - summer loving - the festival will welcome a hotpot of the world’s best food and fiction writers to south London for a month of great food and escapist reads featuring talks from Melissa Hemlsey, Tim Winton, Elif Shafak, Holly Bourne, Tessa Hadley, Hanan al-Shaykh, Antti Tuomainen and Michael Ondaatje.

Submissions are now open for The Sunday Times / Peters Fraser + Dunlop Young Writer of the Year Award 2018 in association with the University of Warwick. To be eligible books must have been first published in the UK and/or the Republic of Ireland, in the English language, between 3 June 2017 and 8 June 2018. The author must be aged 18-35.
