Dulwich Books shortlisted for Best Independent Bookshop 2017
Dulwich Books has been shortlisted for Independent Bookshop of the Year at the British Book Industry Awards 2017.
Located on Croxted Road in West Dulwich, the shop joins five others shortlisted for London, including the London Review Bookshop and Pages of Hackney.
Customers of Dulwich Books can support its chances of winning the regional title by telling the judges of the awards why they think it deserves to win, by submitting responses via an online form on The Bookseller’s website. The form is open to submissions until March 9th.

The bookshop has recently hosted Man Booker Prize winner Paul Beatty; upcoming events feature The Great British Bake Off finalist Chetna Makan, and internationally acclaimed novelist Elif Shafak.
A total of 42 independent bookshops from eight regions have made the cut and will compete to become regional winners, with names to be announced on Wednesday, March 15 at the London Book Fair.
These lucky few will then go head to head for the ultimate accolade of Independent Bookshop of the Year crown at the British Book Awards, to be held at The Grosvenor House Hotel in London on Monday, 8 May.
